SAWS Marine Unit

The Marine Unit of the South African Weather Service, based out of the Cape Town Regional Office, is responsible for all marine related activities and products produced by SAWS.

The unit comprises of several scientists and technical staff whose mission is to provide premium products and services to both the public of South Africa to ensure safety of life at sea as well as external clients
